The rugged adventurers who work in the most brutal fishing seasons on the planet - Red King Crab and Opilio Crab - are the real deal. With the mindset of pirates - high risk for high reward - these crabbers put their life and limb on the line in Deadliest Catch Season 5.

In Season 5, Sig Hansen, a 30-year veteran matches his skills against old rivals, Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie, the Hillstrand brothers of the Time Bandit, and Captain Keith Colburn of the Wizard. Joining the fleet are the 78-ft Lisa Marie, the Incentive, and the Trailblazer. As the captains strategise, the crews are pushed beyond their limits of mental and physical endurance, repeatedly dropping and hauling 700lb crab pots.

But before the season ends, the men will face down huge storms, severe injury, a ticking clock - and each other - to bring in the King crab harvest through hell or high water.
