Great Gatsby

Has anyone seen Baz Luhrmann’s Great Gatsby as yet? We’d love to hear what you thought of the movie. Complete a review of the movie on our website and share your thoughts good or bad. It’s knocked Star Trek Into Darkness off the top of the Aussie Box Office tree this week but that was expected. But Iron Man 3 is still the most popular movie of the year so far according to the Australian Box office takings.

Eurovision 2013

Did you see the Eurovision final last night? I won’t spoil the surpise in case you haven’t seen it yet. It was a great final filled with all the fun we expect from Eurovision. We already have the CD in stock and you can also order the 2013 Eurovision DVD on our website.

Who had a Eurovision party this year? Did you enjoy the abundance of ballads or did you prefer the get-up-and-dance Finland entry, yes I know it almost came last but seriously, how fun was that song? Only 364 more sleeps until Eurovision 2014.

Ultraviolet Is Here

Ultraviolet is here and from what so many customers are telling us, we all love it. Ultraviolet is free with some of our DVDs and Blu Rays. In additon to having the DVD and/or Blu Ray, Ultraviolet allows you to store the DVDs in the cloud so you can access them from anywhere on any device. You can then even download them to your device for free. So this leaves you with the original DVD and Blu Ray but then allows you to also permanently have your copy on all your devices like your iPad or smart phone or stream them anywhere. We’ve been playing with this free service in the office and absolutely love it. The future is here and its awesome!!!!

Iron Man 3

Iron Man 3 DVD rocketed in to the number 1 spot in Australian cinemas this week. But I think we all expected that. But giving it a run for it’s money is Olympus Has Fallen which is a great new action movie starring Morgan Freeman. Both are well worth a look but check out their trailers on our website before parting with your hard-earned.

If you could only see one of these movies, which one would you see? Or do you prefer to wait a few months and own it on DVD or 3D Blu Ray? Maybe both? Both of these movies are well worth the investment but if you liked the first 2 Iron Mans and The Avengers you know you won’t be disappointed with Iron Man 3.
