The Brokenwood Mysteries Season 9 DVD follows Detective Inspector Mike Shepherd as he solves the crimes in the small town of Brokenwood.

With six feature-length, standalone mysteries, series nine begins with a sizzle when the story of Brokenwood’s history is re-enacted in a musical theatre performance that goes horrifically awry when the show’s composer is electrocuted on stage. But was it murder or just an unfortunate accident?

Mike and his trusty team continue to wrestle with Brokenwood’s alarming murder rate, using all manner of unconventional methods to solve the town’s numerous macabre and unusual crimes.

Featuring guest stars Rebecca Gibney, Michelle Langstone, Sam Bunkall, Peter Hambleton and Amelia Reid-Meredith.
