Professional hitman, The Brain (Louis Koo), stages elaborate accidents to disguise his hits. In a gripping opening sequence, The Brains team assassinate a Triad boss through a series of carefully choreographed events that seem random and that the police can only attribute to accidental death.
After the subsequent mission goes awry and one of the team is killed, The Brain starts to wonder if he too is a target. His suspicion falls on an insurance agent (Ritchie Ren) whom he begins to follow obsessively,
noting down his every move. The tension builds as The Brain starts to question his own world
Is Ritchie Rens insurance agent an accident choreographer as well? Or is it all a figment of The Brains own imagination? How can a person who has built his life on illusions be convinced that not all the world is a stage?
