Steve is suspended for interfering with a witness Dylan and he beats him up for the suspension. He made him say that he saw Tom in the woods, but it was Kate. Kate had told Steve that if she died it would be by Tom's hand.

Jess and Tom's mother go to the police to report his menacing and threatening behaviour. The story unfolds as to who did it.
