Evan Almighty

Newly elected to Congress, Evan Baxter (Steve Carell - The 40-Year-Old Virgin) has his life turned upside-down when God (Morgan Freeman) appears and mysteriously commands him to build an ark. However, his perplexed family can't decide whether Evan is having an extraordinary mid-life crisis or is truly onto something of Biblical proportions. Evan Almighty is a hugely entertaining family comedy from Tom Shadyac, the director of Bruce Almighty and Liar Liar.

Nacho Libre

Ignacio (Jack Black), or Nacho to his friends, works as a cook in the Mexican monastery where he grew up. The monastery is home to a host of orphans whom Nacho cares for deeply, but there is not much money to feed them properly. Nacho decides to raise money for the children by moonlighting as a Lucha Libre wrestler with his partner Esqueleto, but since the church forbids Lucha, Nacho must disguise his identity.

Norbit

Norbit (Eddie Murphy) has never had it easy. As a baby, he was abandoned on the steps of a Chinese restaurant/orphanage and raised by Mr. Wong. Things get worse when he's forced into marriage by the mean, junk food-chugging queen, Rasputia (also played by Murphy). Just when Norbit's hanging by his last thread, his childhood sweetheart, Kate (Thandi Newton) moves back to town
