The Life Could Be A Dream DVD. In this award-winning Australian drama, 40-year-old Sarah and her teenage son Otis escape a coercive, controlling home, but before they can achieve real freedom they must face both external threats and Sarah’s fantasies about rescue and relationships.

Taking refuge in a luxurious mansion she’s been hired to sell, Sarah begins to imagine a future shaped by choice rather than fear—and to reconsider her relationship with Otis as they discover what real liberation might look like.

For her work on the film, Jasmin Tarasin was awarded Best Female Director at the 2025 Montreal Independent Film Festival.
