The dazzling Arabian Nights adventure fantasy set in the city of Bagdad follows the dashing Ahmed, the thief who wins a princess.

The Thief of Bagdad (1940)
The evil Jaffar has imprisoned the King of Bagdad, Ahmad. A young thief, Abu, helps him to escape to the Sultan's palace where Ahmad falls in love with the Sultan's daughter, who is betrothed to Jaffar. As the two attempt to restore peace to the city, their adventures bring them into contact with a genie and a flying carpet, both of which they will need if they are to defeat Jaffar.

The Thief of Baghdad (1961)
Karim, a thief with a heart of gold, divides his spoils among the poor of Baghdad. One day, disguised as the prince Osman, he steals the heart of the Sultan's daughter, Amina. The real prince has made Amina ill by giving her a potion meant to make her fall in love with him. The only cure is a blue rose and amongst the suitors is Karim who endures a series of adventures to save her...
