In Volume 9 a criminal bent on revenge has Sgt. Scotty Macleod’s family in his sights. The Yarra Central team hunts down a mentally deranged razor slasher, Det. Sgt. Vickers faces a charge of manslaughter after a police pursuit goes wrong and, in a special double episode, Sgt. Banner is wounded then faces turmoil in his personal life.

Volume 9 includes episode 232 "The Man In The Saville Row Suit" - the first colour episode of Division 4.
