The Ghosts US Season 6 DVD follows a married couple who moves in a haunted house filled with delightful ghostly inhabitants.
The Ghosts US DVD. The season continues as Sam and Kyle can see ghosts. The season starts with an awesome double Halloween special with Hetty stuck in a mirror after the return of her sister.
The season kicks off with a massive shakeup at Woodstone Manor regarding its living residents. Samantha is temporarily away in Australia filming a movie, an in-universe plotline designed to cover the real-life maternity leave of actress Rose McIver. Filling her shoes as the primary liaison to the afterlife is Kyle, played by Ben Feldman, who has been officially promoted to a series regular. Having gained the rare ability to see the deceased after a freak roller coaster accident, Kyle steps into the mansion to assist Jay with daily operations and ghost-sitting duties. This introduces a refreshing buddy comedy energy between Jay and Kyle, giving Jay a living partner who can validate the paranormal chaos unfolding around him.
The narrative momentum picks up immediately from the previous cliffhanger involving Pete, who had crossed the ghost boundary and vanished. The two-part season premiere, titled Halloween 6: The Mirror, finds the spirits attempting to track down their missing friend. When Jay purchases an antique mirror, it introduces a completely new supernatural element to the house: the ghost of Hetty's estranged sister, Margaret, who is trapped inside the glass. This family reunion brings a wave of intense visual effects and explores Hetty's complicated Gilded Age backstory. By the end of the Halloween event, the spirits successfully bring Pete back to the property, but a shocking twist reveals he has lost all memory of the last forty years.
The show continues its festive rollouts with an hour-long Christmas special titled Die Hard, scheduled to air in December. This holiday bridge leads directly into the main midseason block, which promises deeper lore drops and emotional breakthroughs for the resident spirits. Fans can expect an increased focus on Flower's lucidity and a highly anticipated deep dive into the historical truth of how Sasappis died.
Most notably, season 6 features the landmark 100th episode of the series that will centre around the ghosts' obsessive love for lowbrow reality television, specifically a show called It's Getting Hot in Here. The milestone episode is set to feature the return of the villainous Elias Woodstone, who arrives to disrupt the peace just as Thorfinn gets a hilarious chance to connect with his modern-day heroes. Through these clever format changes, fresh character pairings, and high-stakes supernatural twists, Ghosts season 6 successfully breathes vibrant new life into its beloved comedy formula.
