Two cousins, Charles and Paul, find themselves living together while they complete their studies in Paris. But while Charles is clean cut and studious, Paul is a hard partying playboy who lives a decadently amoral life with his bohemian pals. When Charles falls in love with Paul's friend Florence, Paul jealously tries to sabotage their relationship, a scheme which is complicated by the arrival of the university exam period.
