The Miss Austen DVD follows the lives of Jane Austen and Cassandra, her sister.

In 1830, Cassandra Austen (Keeley Hawes) returned to Kintbury, searching for a cache of letters that had belonged to her late novelist sister Jane (Patsy Ferran). As she renews acquaintances with old friends and becomes involved in their intrigues, she reflects on life with her sibling and family... and why finding and destroying the missives was critical.
