Kid Campbell (Dan Cannon) is a bit slow, but he dreams of being the fastest. Luckily he's found a sport where being backwards is an advantage... Reverse Running! After mastering Coach Leroy's (Rosco Brauer) wacky training routines, Kid thinks he is ready to compete against other back-letes at the 'Alternate Athletics'. Humiliated by cocky defending champion Steven James (Julian Shaw), and kicked out of home for refusing to get an ordinary job, he is left to question his childhood dream. In the end it's up to Kid to step up, face the challenge and prove that life isn't always straight forward.
